Secured By Multi-Year Grants

LX Ventures Portfolio Company Sosido Adds Two More Medical Associations Secured by Multi-Year Grants

LX Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE: LXV) ("LXV" or the "Company") and Sosido Networks Inc. ("Sosido") are pleased to announce that the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology ("CANO") and the Canadian Association of General Practitioners in Oncology ("CAGPO") have launched on Sosido's platform. This expansion marks a 113% increase in users on the Sosido network, which already included the Canadian Blood and Marrow Transplant Group (CBMTG) and the Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology (CAPhO) bringing the number of supported associations to four.

CBMTG, CAPhO, CANO and CAGPO have been supported to participate in the Sosido network through multi-year unrestricted grants from Hoffmann-La Roche Limited ("Roche"). Roche is a leader in the research and development of pharmaceutical and diagnostic solutions that look beyond today's horizons and make a profound difference in people's lives. Roche partners with the oncology community to support innovative services that will ultimately help healthcare professionals help their patients.

CANO is the national organization that supports Canadian nurses to promote and develop excellence in oncology nursing practice, education, research and leadership, with a mission to lead nursing excellence in cancer control for Canadians. CAGPO is the national organization that connects and promotes General Practitioners in Oncology in cancer centres and primary care settings across Canada.

Through the Sosido network members are provided a new online and mobile platform which streams the latest articles from their chosen journal feeds or knowledge sources, provides instant updates on publications by their colleagues, and facilitates discussion around clinical practice-related issues.
"We are very excited that CANO and CAGPO have chosen the Sosido solution. We're seeing significant and rapid growth in our flagship market, the Canadian hematology and oncology community, which bodes well for our objective of connecting the broader global healthcare community," said Mike Edwards, CEO of LX Ventures.
Tanis Steward, Founder and CEO of Sosido, said, "The oncology nurses and oncology general practitioners are critical to the delivery of cancer care in Canada and hold vital clinical knowledge and experience. Sosido's goal is to move that knowledge quickly from those who have it, to those who need it, resulting in better care for all patients. We're delighted that our growing community of healthcare professionals, and industry supporters like Roche, share our vision."
