GreenPower designated as successful bidder by Washington

STATE OF WASHINGTON DESIGNATES GREENPOWER AS AN APPARENT SUCCESSFUL BIDDER IN FOUR CATEGORIES
GreenPower Motor Company Inc. has received a notice from the State of Washington's department of enterprise services (DES) that it has designated GreenPower as an apparent successful bidder under IFP No. 09214 for heavy duty public transit vehicles in the following categories:

Category E -- heavy duty bus -- Plug In Electric35 Footer40 Footer45 Footer
Category G -- Heavy Duty Bus -- High Floor Electric45 Footer
In the notice GreenPower was the only manufacturer listed for the Category E Heavy Duty Bus -- Plug In Electric for the 45 Footer and there was only one other manufacturer designated as the Apparent Successful Bidder in more categories than GreenPower.

Designation as an Apparent Successful Bidder does not imply that DES will issue an award to the Company. It merely means that at the time of the notice, DES believes that GreenPower's bid is responsive with the points awarded under the Bid. "This is another significant milestone for GreenPower as our products had to satisfy an extensive set of criteria and technical requirements. The clean sheet design and OEM platform provides GreenPower with tremendous flexibility in producing a suite of products," said the Chairman, Fraser Atkinson. "This is also a testament to the GreenPower team and their skill set."
