2015-11-16 20:20 ET - News Release

Mr. David Gilmour reports
EARTH ALIVE OBTAINS FINAL GOVERNMENT REGISTRATION FOR MICROBIAL FERTILIZER TECHNOLOGY IN PERU AND CHILE
Earth Alive Clean Technologies Inc.'s biofertilizer product Soil Activator has received final registration approval in both Chile and Peru.

"This is another milestone achievement for Earth Alive," stated David Gilmour, chief executive officer of Earth Alive. "Government registration is a key success factor to establishing distribution agreements with industry leaders in Latin America and an integral part of our growth strategy. To further accelerate the company's growth, we have implemented an initiative to be registered in 17 Latin American countries within the next 12 months."

Michael Warren, vice-president of global operations for Earth Alive's agricultural division, explained: "Latin America is a growing agriculture market with focus on domestic and export crops. Soil Activator is well received to date by the farming community of Latin America with both conventional and organic growers. Currently, Earth Alive has more than 50 ongoing trials in Latin America in over 30 crops, with outstanding initial results. The sales and growth opportunities in this region of the world alone are staggering."

Over the past year, Earth Alive's patent-pending Soil Activator obtained full registration by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Ecocert organic certification. The company is in the final stages of registration approval in West Africa ECOWAS (Economic Community of Western African States, 15 members) and Southern Africa (SADC, Southern African Development Community, 15 members also). Earth Alive's Soil Activator technology improves crop yields by increasing the root's nutrient uptake by making already existing, and added, soil minerals and nutrients more available to the plants. It promotes plant health and stimulates its growth at all levels.

The company would also like to provide a clarification regarding its press release dated Nov. 5, 2015. The company stated in its Nov. 5 release title that the "Earth Alive Soil Activator increases organic wheat yield by up to 33 per cent in Tek-Mac field trials." The company would like to clarify that in the Tek-Mac trials, a combination of both Earth Alive Soil Activator and Tek-Mac's Good n' Green fertilizer produced yields that were up to 33 per cent higher than unfertilized wheat. The addition of Soil Activator to Good n' Green fertilizer produced an extra 12 per cent compared with Good n' Green fertilizer by itself.
